Here’s the episode all the geekdom have been waiting for, the Doctor Who Christmas Special 2011. If you have been following the Doctor Who series then you already knew that every year, since its revival in 2005, held a special episode every Christmas time and they called it the Doctor Who Christmas Special. And for this year the Doctor Who presents, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe episode.

Here is a special episode of Doctor Who for us. It is Christmas and it is time that we will receive something form the doctor that has entertained us. It was a long time that we have not seen the Doctor and it is the time that we will have an opportunity to see him again. You know that the Doctor loves adventure and he is always on the move when he knows that he can do something.

In this special episode, the story is set during World War II and is about a family of Blitz refugees, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, who have to relocate to Dorset, where they meet the Doctor. It is hard to manage life after a war has took place. The community cannot recover from the devastation that has happened and there is a need for time to unfold and give the people the opportunity to move forward. You can watch The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe on December 25, 2011 on BBC One in UK and in BBC America in the US.
