Hi tata my english is not good but i hope you can understand a little, let me remember you miss universe 2009 stefania fernandez spoke in spanish last year in the final question you can search in youtube and check its true, so please is not unfair, im mexican so im happy for miss mexico and she deserves that crown.

This is silly! Not speaking English does’t make you lees or more intelligent. Some languages are more complicate than English, and by the way, Spanish has more genders and more tenses in the language that the users have to conjugate, or deal with. And many countries speak English not because they were able to come up with the knowledge, but because they were colonized!.
Ohh Tata. The beauty is not related with a language. She was clever using her beautifuy idiom, Spanish. Have you listend it before? The important things in life are not just in English. I think Jimena is very proud of her country, culture and language. Would you explain why you are trying to mix the language with the beauty? Or, Excuse me, Do you think that if we give Jimena intensive english lessons she will be more beautiful? Come on!
Well oh well, I am so proud of being Mexican and a well educated one that also learned English as a second language in while studying my carreer in Mx. and I wish the best to the new Miss Mx! it was about time another wonderful Mexican got another crown
Last, if all of you read Tata’s msg above, it seems like she herself can get some good english grammar classes at least to 101, bcs her writing was really bad. any ways, I believe in Latinas unidas work and get better together. greetings!
the Miss Universe Pagent IS NOT about the english language; nor grammer. It is about BEAUTY,CHARM AND VALUES. Sta. Belleza de MEXICO, now MISS UNIVERSE es UNA CHINGONO MEXICANA…She earned the crown she is wearing……GO MEXICO!!!!
miss universe is obviously pretty …….. but well miss universe has to be beautiful in all the way ..look at her crowining pic her finger nails horrible…..

) and i think she deserve it because she is elegent , beautiful , kind and intelligent. and being a filipino , i think the miss mexico does not deserve the crown for the simple reason that filipino BEAUTY are so unique and exquicite. hahah !

Congrats to Miss Mexico, Miss Jamaica, Miss Australia and Miss Ukraine! They truly deserved to be in the top 5! In my opinion, Miss Ireland should have rounded out the top 5 finalists. Not Miss Philippines. I believe that because of the overwhelming support that Venus was getting from her country(which was great) the judges were perhaps pressured to put her in the top 5 as a crowd pleaser. Miss Mexico does speak English(see Youtube video “Miss Universe-Mexico)) but chose to use her native language. She did not answer her final question. Miss Australia and Miss Jamaica were well poised and most confident in answering their questions. Some people argue that Jamaica may have lost the crown because she mentioned GOD in her answer in a country that has become Godless. Some say Mexico won because of politics. Personally, I am happy with the results(top 4) even though I overlooked Miss Australia all along. Congratulations to Miss Mexico and I wish her well. As someone said, if the contest was held in a different country with a different set of judges, the results may have been different. I have been following the contestants extensively from the start online on various web sites, FaceBook and YOutube, up to the preliminary competition and the final night. Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillips, possesses a great personality, grace, confidence and charm. She was the one that truly “stood out” above the rest.
this is a miss UNIVERSE peagent, this means that all foreign languages,race,color,and nationality are important and the girls are just the way they are in their country, and if theres an unfairness then miss U.S.A should speak spanish when this mentioned peagent is done in MEXICO , or french if is done in FRANCE, and so on ,and so on , what i do recomend is that TATA should learn to type english couse she has a mispell words so…. SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
